The Smilesss Experience
When Augmented Reality meets NFTs, Streetwear, and Culture
Smilesss was born out of the convergence of streetwear, technology, hip-hop, and fashion. We aim to redefine luxury in a way that is not derivative of the traditional definition, but instead, creates a new one both physically & digitally and without exclusivity. Our mission is to establish a forward-thinking brand that appeals to an eclectic audience — from the high-end hipster who appreciates innovative design, to the streetwear enthusiast who craves new aesthetics and urban culture, but more than this, we look to take things one step further and create an experience around the Smilesss brand like no other.
We’re more than just a brand, we’re a cultural movement about seeing and approaching the world differently. Because of this, our challenge was to capture the brand in a way that can be understood and embodied across all mediums while conveying the emotional messages of Waheed, the community, and our collective energy.
With this in mind, we began exploring new ways to be able to tell the story, ways that would experientially engage the emotions of the audience and help them see the world differently. This led us to explore augmented reality as a core communication channel for the brand. With augmented reality, we look to create a visual language that can speak the language of emotion and allow our audience to see Smilesss through eyes full of wonder.
Introducing, the Smilesss Capsule Collection, powered by augmented-reality technology, this collection of limited edition tees, hoodies, art prints, and stickers takes experience to another level and comes to life like nothing ever before. In partnership with Art House, this first-of-its-kind experience includes an immersive “Step into Smilesss” AR booth, with 10' tall Smilesssvrs characters that come to life.
